Architect-US Professional Career Training Program launches an international competition open to students and professionals in the field of Architecture, Design and Engineering, for the design and construction of the booth with which Architect-US will participate in the American Institute of Architects National Convention that will be held on May 19-21st in Philadelphia.

The aim of the competition is to provide students and young professionals with the opportunity of having a first approach to the world of exhibitions and ephemeral architecture in an international environment. Participant will make their first professional contact with the American market while getting their design built in the most prestigious Architecture, Construction and Design Convention of the American industry.
First Design Award includes the construction of the winning design at PHILAIADELPHIA 2016, 800€ and the Convention entry ticket. Second Design Award includes the competition board display at PHILAIADELPHIA 2016 and 400€. The Honorific Mention Award will consist of the competition board display at PHILAIADELPHIA 2016.

The competition has an exceptional jury’s panel comprised of Nuno Ravara (Herzog&de Meuron Associate), Ivan Shunkov (President of Harvard Architectural & Urban Society Alumni), Alex Alaimo (AIA National Associates Committee Director at Large), Salvador Pérez Arroyo (Honorary Professor of the Bartlett School of Architecture UCL), Blanca Lleó (Vice Dean of Madrid Polytechnic School of Architecture External and International Relations) y Patricia Gª Chimeno (Architect-US Director of Operations).
