Hi! I’m Mariana,
I’m an architect from Mexico, and this summer I’ll be joining Mark Poe Builders in Nashville, Tennessee as an intern! I recently attended my U.S. embassy appointment to get my J-1 visa, and I wanted to share a bit about my experience for anyone thinking of following a similar path.
When I was first offered this incredible opportunity to gain experience in the United States, I had no idea what the J-1 visa process involved.
