The Cleveland Foundation’s new headquarters building, designed by S9 Architecture, features warm cedar cladding, large windows and a solid wood structure with a focus on sustainability. Located in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood, it represents a starting point for the transformation of an area historically marked by conflict and inequality.
This headquarters is the first piece of the foundation-driven innovation district, a project that seeks to revitalize Hough with community facilities, economic momentum and connected urban fabric. More than architecture, it is a statement of the future for an evolving community.
