New ribbon-shaped river park in Kentucky

Heatherwick Studio has unveiled the design for an undulating structure over the elevated Belvedere Park in Louisville. Their goal: to transform this space into a powerful, exciting and new place for the city.Located on I-64 and overlooking the Ohio River, the 1973 park has suffered years of neglect. This redevelopment seeks to bring it back to life with a bold proposal that will turn it into an urban living room for the community.
