One of the names I believed people must have heard before when about to come to LA is the Getty, the famous museum located on the hill, which can be one of the best spots for city sightseeing. This is my first time visiting this place. Luckily, me and my friend were allowed to visit the museum even though we didn’t make an online reservation.
I was impressed since the way along to here. and even the tram from the entrance to the main building. It was a really cool sequence. The building isn’t that big, but it’s big enough to let you spend the day there. There was plenty of art, which I dare say architects like us will enjoy a lot. They also have some pieces of Monet art, which really impressed me.
Not just the art, but another cool thing is you can have a picnic there; it was new to me because in my country, Thailand, only a few parks allow people to bring food inside. Even the landscape design is amazing. People can have small activities around the place besides just coming to see art. Some people were sitting down there together and having lunch, and some kids were playing around. That made the Getty look more charming when architecture and people can become harmonious. Sadly, we didn’t pack any food with us. So we just walked around and explored the area.
There is a garden designed on the slope of the hills, which also creates an amazing experience while you walk down along the way. The garden was rich with a variety of flowers; it was really pretty.
My day trip almost went perfectly, except for the weather. The day we went there was a cloudy day, so the pictures I took were not good, but since I have a lot of time in LA, I’ll definitely come back here!
