Architectural firm BIG has unveiled the design for the Las Vegas baseball stadium, which will feature «shimmering» metal cladding and 33,000 seats. The roof of the new stadium is accented with five overlapping shell-shaped shells reminiscent of baseball pennants. For the players, these arched pennants will attenuate the direct glare of the sun’s rays, while providing indirect natural light through north-facing skylights.
