OMA/Jason Long has unveiled a project in Detroit to transform a former bakery and warehouse into a mixed-use arts, education and community space. The project creates a mix of artist studios, galleries, community-serving retail stores, and gathering spaces. Dubbed “LANTERN”, the development will become a “condenser of activity”.
