The Basque Culinary Center (an academic and gastronomic research institution located in San Sebastián, Spain) will finally see its Gastronomy Open Ecosystem, a project that seeks to generate a gastronomic ecosystem focused on research, innovation and entrepreneurship. An international architecture competition was launched in December 2021 and there are already five: 3xn, BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, OMA – Office of Metropolitan Architecture, Snøhetta and Toyo Ito & Associates.
