Many are the architects and their works that we studied in the university. Usually we look for them in books, magazines and even in Internet. In this case I had the opportunity to travel to New York and get into the very reality of those works of architecture.
I had the privilege of visiting one of Frank Lloyd Wright, a reference of modern architecture, and one of his best known works: The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum. The fact of knowing in person one of his works was something very gratifying.
And that’s not the end, just a few blocks from the building, in the MoMa museum, an exhibition of this Architect was taking place, having the oportunity to see all his works and sketches. It was an incredible sensation to be able to appreciate in one day the whole historical journey of one of the most important works of the modern movement, from sketch to reality, from its conception to its materialization.
