Hi everyone!! I am very excited to share with you what has been one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life! I have loved Metallica since I was a teenager and one of my goals was to attend at least one of their concerts. They had not played life since 2009 and I was afraid I might have lost my opportunity.
However, they recently released their new album Hardwired to self destruct and they started a new tour in the USA. Right after moving to East Rutherford I realized that Metallica were going to perform at the Metlife Stadium which is only five minutes by car from my house so I just couldn’t help it and I got tickets.
The stadium was the biggest I had ever been to and it was really breathtaking. The concert was far beyond my expectations. They are trully talented musicians and the life was even better than the studio recordings. Also, the show in terms of lights, effects and atmosphere was simply unbeatable. They sang some of their new songs but mainly old time classics such as Fade to Black, For whom the bell tolls, One, Master of Puppets, Nothing else matters…
The concert was vibrant, full of energy and it made me feel so alive. I am so happy that my experience as an Intern in the USA has brought me the chance to fulfill one of my old time dreams.
