I strongly recommend it because it does not make distinctions between arts, styles or whatever pops up. The museum honors the design and that is what is important here. You can see it easily from the first moment you cross the door.
The first exhibition I saw was about the Digital Drawing Creation. There were a lot of Pixar cartoons and you could learn and see how they have been created from by hand drawings through 3D models. It was an interactive exhibition so you could create more cartoons and save them to its website platform to see them afterwards at home.
Although it was really amazing, I should say that what I enjoyed the most that it was the exhibition about Sou Fujimoto models done with the most ordinary materials. The idea was the understanding of how with just simple movements of the mass you can create space. The secret is to open your eyes and keep them wide open to see what it is possible with the slightlest movements.
If you are here in New York do not miss the opportunity to visit it, you will surely enjoy it!
