Employers pay no program, visa, or placement fees to participate in our Program, since candidates are sponsored by the Program through a US Government <strong>official designated J-1 Sponsor<\/strong>. For <strong>interns<\/strong>, employers will pay a compensation stipend equal to or more than the minimum or prevailing wage in their areas. For <strong>trainees<\/strong>, employers will pay a salary commensurate with their experience level. Owing to no other source of income, Architect-US will only accept paid internships and training positions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is not necessary for Host Companies to offer participants health insurance, \u00a0as all J-1 Exchange Visitor Program participants have Accident and Sickness insurance that meets U.S. State Department requirements for the length of their stay in the U.S. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>J-1 Exchange Visitor Program<\/strong> participants under no circumstances are permitted to seek additional employment while in the U.S. Working anywhere else besides your organization is strictly prohibited and is a very serious violation of the terms of the visa to the extent of program termination and not allowance to return to the U.S. in the future. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The documents necessary from the <\/span><b>Host Company <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Workers Compensation Policy<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \/ <\/span><b>Certificate of Liability Insurance<\/b><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Host Company Agreement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (we will send)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>DS-7002 Internship\/Training Placement Plan<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> filled out (we will send template and example)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><b>Marketing material<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (studio portfolio, articles, brochures)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To participate in Architect-US Career Training USA J-1 Program, your organization must be able to provide a structured, practical training experience, understanding that this is not a work program but a cultural exchange opportunity for both the employees of host companies as well as the Interns \/ Trainees.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Architect-US Professional Career Training Program is a virtually free service to employers.
