I already spent in this city enough time to realize that if you are not persistent in this city you\u2019ll not go far.<\/strong> Even when you are about to take the train you have to swipe your subway card a couple of time, \u201cswipe again\u201d it says. If this never happened to you, you don\u2019t take the subway that much.<\/p>\n

The other day I went to buy a machine for the kitchen to one of those famous-and-big stores in Manhattan. I was about to pay this machine 3 times and I failed two, but I was sure that the machine was going to come home with me somehow.<\/strong> Usually when you decide to do something in this city it is inconvenient because the distances are big and you don\u2019t usually have time to do it. It\u2019s hard to imagine how this small things can be that difficult in this city.<\/strong> A couple of days after this, I was talking with a friend. she was in this grocery store for two hours calling her bank because she wasn\u2019t able to pay.<\/p>\n

Actually what I want to say it\u2019s that you can do whatever (within your possibilities) in life, but if you want to succeed you must be persistent, even for the small things.<\/strong> This is what this city teaches to you every day.<\/p>\n

This month have been amazing.<\/strong> I\u2019m looking forward to start my second month in this program.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
