{"id":5338,"date":"2017-08-26T09:38:20","date_gmt":"2017-08-26T08:38:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/?p=5338"},"modified":"2017-08-15T09:27:26","modified_gmt":"2017-08-15T08:27:26","slug":"cisco-brewers-on-nantucket","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/2017\/08\/cisco-brewers-on-nantucket\/","title":{"rendered":"Cisco Brewers on Nantucket"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello my dear friends!<\/p>\n<p>Last week I visited <a href=\"http:\/\/ciscobrewers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Cisco Brewery<\/a> on Nantucket. <strong>This is very special place and one of favorite for all people on the island.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here on <strong>Nantucket<\/strong> they have a <strong>Winery, Brewery, and Distillery<\/strong>. <a href=\"http:\/\/ciscobrewers.com\/nantucket-vineyard-wines\" target=\"_blank\">Nantucket Vineyard<\/a> was the first arm of their business <strong>opening in the early 1980\u2019s<\/strong> as a small project of the Long Family. After a few years, Winery employees ended up falling in love with the wine and each other, and <strong>Cisco Brewers<\/strong> was born on the <strong>Hudson<\/strong>\u2019s stovetop in 1995. Whispers of a brewery floated on the Nantucket wind, catching the ear of a few people, including a <strong>Mr. Harman<\/strong>. Using the previously tested and proven formula of starting a business from another business, Winery and Brewery employees enjoyed a few glasses together and hatched the idea for <a href=\"http:\/\/ciscobrewers.com\/distillery\" target=\"_blank\">Triple Eight Distillery<\/a> in 2000. All three businesses are constantly evolving, and now <strong>they produce a wide variety of world-class wines, beers, and spirits.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>That day with my friends <strong>I was listening<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/the-daggers.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Daggers<\/a>. <strong>They are a Cape Cod treasure<\/strong>. They can play as exquisitely as the light from a summer sunset or with as much attitude as the wind whips from a Nor\u2019easter. This is clearly <strong>a band that likes to have fun<\/strong> and that\u2019s an attitude that you\u2019ll find irresistibly contagious if you experience a Daggers show. The band has been gathering momentum for a few years, with<strong> their first EP released in 2012<\/strong>.
