The project forms part of Upgrade SEA, the Port of Seattle\u2019s initiative to modernize the airport.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion more than doubles the size of the existing buildings, adding four new floors and taking the form of a wedge-shaped structure with a gently sloped roof fitted with photovoltaic panels.
