Antonin Chenuel<\/h4>\n

Antonin is a young architect with a passion for combining craftsmanship, sustainability, and collaboration<\/strong> in his work. Currently completing his Master\u2019s in Wooden Construction at ENSTIB \u00c9pinal<\/strong>, he has gained experience across France designing with upcycled materials, creating custom furniture, and working on residential and commercial projects. Winner of the L\u2019\u00c9cho du Marteau construction festival<\/strong> and a participant in international workshops on climate migration and adaptive reuse<\/strong>, Antonin brings both creativity and technical expertise to every project. Now contributing to CLT projects in New York with MESH Architectures<\/strong>, he continues to expand his skills while staying true to his vision of thoughtful, ecological design.<\/p>\n

Timber House \u2013 Brooklyn, NY<\/h4>\n

Timber House is the first mass-timber condominium in the New York region: a six-story, 14-unit building constructed with glue-laminated timber structural elements. Its design emphasizes sustainability and high performance: passive-house-level insulation, energy recovery ventilation, induction cooking, heat pumps, solar panels, and EV charging are all integrated. Rooms are lofty with nearly 11-foot ceilings, featuring Danish brick exteriors, custom hexagonal floor tiles, LED lighting, and boutique finishes. Timber House has earned recognition such as World-Architects\u2019 Building of the Week and an Architizer A+ Award for Sustainable Multi-Unit Residential Building.<\/p>\n

Made in New York Media Center \u2013 Brooklyn, NY<\/h4>\n

This 20,000 sq ft media center, created for the Independent Filmmaker Project (IFP), exemplifies MESH’s commitment to user-driven, imaginative spaces. Designed as a “village-like” workspace, it features communal zones, innovative meeting areas with egg-shaped tables, a caf\u00e9, classrooms, and a high-tech screening room that floats as an \u201cisland\u201d in the main space, and is fully wrapped in continuous video projection. The project showcases MESH\u2019s mastery of translating programmatic complexity into human-centered environments.<\/p>\n

Atrium House \u2013 Williamsburg, Brooklyn<\/h4>\n

In transforming a former garage into a two-volume residence, MESH delivered a design that redefines urban residential typologies. The Atrium House features a serene inner courtyard (an invented outdoor space), with double-height living areas surrounded by folding glass walls – blending indoor and outdoor elements in a tight urban lot. The bold, modern intervention honors the industrial context while providing a tranquil retreat from city life.<\/p>\n
