Luckily, I&#8217;m not afraid of homeless camps or that kind of stuff, so I can go by myself. But since I go somewhere every weekend, exploring <strong>LA<\/strong> isn&#8217;t exciting for me anymore. I need to look for some activities in which I can participate, spend more time, or, at maximum, meet new people here.<\/p>\n<p>American culture is different from where I came from, and activities are as well. When I was in <strong>Thailand<\/strong>, me and my friends usually went to some restaurants to meet up, or if we wanted to travel, we just selected some places to go and considered it a trip that needed a lot of preparation. Hiking was never one of my plans before.<\/p>\n<p>But now that I live in the <strong>U.S.<\/strong>, where people usually go hiking on weekends, of course I should make a change to try too! My first hike was this month; it was scheduled for Friday noon. We went to some hills near <strong>West Hollywood<\/strong>, and there were a lot of people coming to hike like us. At first, I thought it might not be that hard, but it was actually hard. It might be because I had asthma when I was a kid; that&#8217;s why my capacity is shorter than others. I had to stop along the path several times, but the views are amazing!<\/p>\n<p>Another thing I&#8217;d never try if I still lived in Thailand is yoga. I was asked to join a couple classes a few months ago. I&#8217;m also not good at this. My flexibility is really low; I can&#8217;t even touch the floor when we reach that position. But I think the point of yoga is not just to focus on the exercise part; it teaches you to organize your thoughts and your breath and inspires you to have motivation in life.<\/p>\n<p>In the future, I also plan to join some communities nearby, may start reading as a group, drawing clubs, or something else, and hopefully find a place to fit in!<\/p>\n<div class='_form_264'><\/div><script type='text\/javascript' src='https:\/\/architect-us.activehosted.com\/f\/embed.php?static=0&id=264&6A1AC4FB83879&nostyles=0&preview=0'><\/script>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Since I&#8217;ve been here for a while, I always go to downtown LA to explore this city.
