SOM<\/a> (SKIDMORE, OWINGS & MERRILL LLP)<\/strong>\u00a0has revealed the designs for its new and ambitious project, one of the biggest in the world. \u00a0The firm is working with a team of local and international architecture and landscape architecture firms in an extensive collection of residential, hotel, retail, office, and public spaces in the heart of Bangkok<\/strong>. A\u00a0new 16-hectare mixed-use development where an estimated 60,000 people will live and work in the district when complete in 2025 \u00a0Its name:\u00a0One Bagkok<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

One Bagkok\u00a0will establishes a vertical village designed to foster community<\/strong> and promote well-being in a dense urban environment. The project also includes the design of several towers, each one unique in form and personality, but also adapted to the local tropical climate and, last but not least, sustainable and ecological. SOM\u00a0Design Partner Scott Duncan<\/a>\u00a0states:<\/strong><\/p>\n
