History<\/strong> of Fogarty Finger Architecture<\/h4>\n

Based in New York, Fogarty Finger Architecture <\/strong>is an award-winning architecture firm and it was established in 2003 by Chris Fogarty<\/strong> and Robert Finger<\/strong>. Despite their beginning as a small studio, the firm has since grown with offices in Atlanta, Boston, and New York. Their areas of expertise include art consultation, FF&E services, interior design, and architecture. Fogarty Finger Architecture is also regularly listed in both Interior Design’s Top 100 Giants<\/strong> and Architectural Record’s Top 300 lists<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chris Fogarty AIA, RIBA and Robert Finger AIA<\/h4>\n

Fogarty graduated from the University College’s Bartlett<\/strong> and he continued his educational journey at the University of Edinburgh<\/strong>, Scotland, where he was awarded his Master’s Degree in Architecture. At Fogarty Finger, he oversees the concept and design development of all projects within the office. Before founding Fogarty Finger, Chris was a Senior Designer at SOM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Finger graduated from Syracuse University<\/strong>, after which he pursued his interest and passion for design at SOM<\/strong>, where he was in charge of multiple international projects. At Fogarty Finger, Robert takes the lead in overseeing the company’s interior design projects.<\/p>\n

Matilde Pietrabissa<\/span><\/h4>\n

The Italian architect Matilde Pietrabissa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Accademia di Architettura<\/strong>, USI (Mendrisio, CH). She chose to continue her education, and a few years later, the same university awarded her a Master of Science in Architecture. Matilde’s work experience ranges from being an intern at Art Gallery Susanna Orlando<\/strong>, Italy, for several years in a row, to being a teaching assistant at WaVe Summer School for Joaquin Corvalan<\/strong> in Venice, Italy.<\/p>\n

Matilde was able to find an architecture job with Fogarty Finger in the US thanks to Architect-US<\/a>‘s visa sponsorship and documentation assistance through the Job+J1 Visa Program<\/a>. The period of her trainee program with Fogarty Finger was July 20, 2023, to December 12, 2023.<\/p>\n

437 Madison – New York<\/span><\/h4>\n

Oasis at 437 Madison features indoor and outdoor areas where tenants can work, unwind, and host guests. Its design is influenced by Nordic regions. Situated on the 14th floor of a mid-century building designed by Emery Roth & Sons, it is easily accessible at the intersection of the Grand Central and Plaza Districts. It is a significant component of the building’s major capital improvements program.<\/p>\n

Oasis at 437 Madison, the inaugural club in the Oasis branded series, is an executive club-style retreat with an abundance of amenities. It has a breakout studio for small gatherings, a communal lounge and library, a caf\u00e9\/bar, and an adaptable conference room.<\/p>\n

This Oasis is full of intuitive visuals of color, materiality, texture, and furnishings designed to give the impression of being in a cozy, albeit highly styled cabin in the snowy woods of Scandinavia, as evidenced by an icy-looking metallic ceiling in the otherwise warmly furnished and accessorized bar area. As evidenced by the conference room’s rug and chairs, banquettes, sofas, and other furnishings, blue hues are prevalent throughout the room.<\/p>\n

222 Mitchell – Atlanta, GA<\/span><\/h4>\n

222 Mitchell will feature three dedicated hospitality spaces: casual dining, a lounge, and a rooftop bar, all accessible via separate street entrances.<\/p>\n

A horseshoe-shaped bar, complete with a looping neon lasso, Herm\u00e8s-inspired saddles, and horse bits, reminds patrons of this fortunate footnote in Atlanta’s history. Large spaces for lounging and enjoying beverages are available on the outdoor terrace that is adjacent. With its own elevated platform and outdoor bar, the terrace is ideal for events like weddings and rentals. Guests can take advantage of the mild weather and take in views of the downtown skyline and state capitol building from planters, carefully chosen sculptures, and an outdoor fireplace.<\/p>\n

The design for the sophisticated High Horse Lounge is inspired by the city’s antebellum period, when resident Samuel Mitchell traded his horse for five acres of land. The 7th floor High Horse Lounge, a venue for drinks and light bites as well as a VIP event space and a destination for fans heading to a game or concert, has a playful theme that is woven throughout the design.<\/p>\n

Named after the mythical Native American bird, the eighth-floor Thunderbird Diner is a more laid-back dining establishment with a menu and d\u00e9cor drenched in 1950s nostalgia. A personalized neon sign welcomes guests and opens to reveal the environment, which is inspired by mid-century modern design. The area is filled in and lit by a graphic wooden grid, with checkered stone serving as an anchor beneath your feet. Curved bronze rails define plush banquettes with wood trim and marble top tables that divide diners. A sophisticated bar that features stools and pendant lighting is a nod to the traditional soda fountain. The diner is an all-weather venue thanks to its retractable roof, just like the stadium it looks out over.<\/p>\n

419 NE 19 – Miami, FL<\/h4>\n

Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood gets an upgraded silhouette thanks to this brand-new, opulent condo. The soaring building maximizes residents’ coveted views of the water and outdoor access from private wrapped terraces within a compact, triangular-shaped footprint. Rounded corners and the stark white stucco fa\u00e7ade pay homage to the building’s illustrious art deco past, while the exposed columns, balcony slabs, and floor to ceiling glazing all come together to form an intricate grid.<\/p>\n

The expansive pool is shaded by a rooftop deck with a canopy, and the ample amenity floors feature sky lounges, private dining areas, wine rooms, fitness, wellness, and meditation areas, as well as plunge pools and saunas.<\/p>\n
