Meeting new people in the city.<\/h2>\n

When you arrive to a new city you have to explore all the possibilities that the city offers to you. The bigger is the city the more diverse is its cultural life or gastronomical offer. You can find multicultural people with mixed origins that can show you different points of view about life. Those are some of the reasons for me to love living in big cities. You always have something new and exciting to do and you can meet truly interesting people. And you never know what those people are going to offer you. Life is full of surprises!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Just a little bit after arriving to this city I met a guy that became one of my closest friends in this city. We met because we had in common that both of us lived in Paris<\/strong>. We discovered that we lived at the same time there and not too far away from each other, but our ways never crossed there.<\/p>\n

It was very interesting for me to find an American<\/strong> who actually lives in Paris<\/strong>, I wanted to hear from him what are his thoughts about Europe as an American. He was interested in my point of view about America and knowing why I decided to move here.<\/p>\n

The Lady Gaga connection.<\/h2>\n

We discovered too that the both of us had tickets to see Lady Gaga<\/strong> in concert in the Stade de France<\/strong> (the biggest stadium in France) but we couldn\u2019t go because it was in 2020 and you know\u2026 COVID. At the end the two of us left Pari<\/strong>s and couldn\u2019t make it to go to the concert.<\/p>\n

But remember, life is full of surprises. He told me that he had a friend that could give us tickets to go to see Lady Gaga<\/strong> FOR FREE. He didn\u2019t want to go alone but if I wanted to go with him we could go. I obviously said YES. So I was there, in the Metlife Stadium<\/strong> in NJ on August 11th<\/sup> to see a Lady Gaga<\/strong> for free with a new friend I made in this city. And we were 3m away from the stage, in the closest area possible. I couldn\u2019t believe it!<\/p>\n

The Metlife stadium<\/strong> is know for being the stadium of American football teams like the New York Giants<\/strong> and the New York Jets<\/strong> but there are a lot more events there\u2026 like concerts.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a huge stadium with capacity for 82500 seated persons. That\u2019s a lot! And it is in New Jerse<\/strong>y because, you know, in New York<\/strong> it\u2019s almost impossible to fit a stadium as big as this one with all the needed parking places. The Madison Square Garden<\/strong> is relatively small, only around 20000 seated places. Nonetheless is very easy to arrive from the city to the stadium. You just have to take a bus in the Port Authority Bus Terminal<\/strong>, in 8 Avenue close to Penn Station. You can go too to the American Dream Mall<\/strong>, there are not a lot of malls like this one in the city.<\/p>\n

Definitively if you can go to this stadium to see a match, a concert or any other spectacle don\u2019t skip the opportunity because is one of the best experiences you can have in the city. I think since I arrive this concert is the best experience I had so far.<\/p>\n
