Since the very beginning of my journey here, a day at work has already started in several different ways. Sometimes I could manage to go in by bike, or take the subway all the way to the office. On the subway it is where the real journey begins. With all sorts of different people, all going somewhere no matter what hour in the day. The subway<\/strong> always starts as full as possible, as soon as the sunrise. After half minute trip on the public transport I finally arrive at Canal Street stop<\/a>.<\/p>\n Depending on the day of the week we start our morning with an office meeting, or a small team meeting. Both to have a point of view on how everyone is doing and the struggles in each project. On the days we start with small team meeting we get to know what are the goals for the day. And also to keep in mind the important deadlines for the week or for the month. After that, it is time to keep on drawing on the softwares, which lately I have been using more AutoCAD<\/strong>, Rhino<\/strong> and InDesign<\/strong>. Aside of softwares, we still produce quite some physical models in the office, and so we have models spread throughout the office all over the place.<\/p>\n Once the morning is over and it is time for lunch we either go have lunch all together, or I enjoy the lunch out to explore the art galleries around the area. Therefore, I could not have been in a better location than Tribeca which has a gallery in every corner that you walk through, it is definitely a delicacy for arts. Once that time is over it is time to get back to another session of drawings or brainstorming about the projects.<\/p>\n As if it could not get any better some days we end it by going to grab some drinks all together, or there are plenty of events happening before getting home. Most of the time I end up going to lectures and networking events at the Center of Architecture<\/strong>, or going to a concert or having dinner out with some friends and live music.<\/p>\nThe Office<\/h3>\n
