Established in 1987, CetraRuddy<\/strong> is an award-winning global architecture, planning and interior design firm driven by design excellence and the creating of one-of-a-kind experiences. For three decades, the firm has led with a guiding principle that architecture and design must engage context and enrich the human spirit. SYNOPSIS:\u00a0This majestic\u00a01929 tower, originally designed by noted architect Ralph Walker as a commercial building, was converted for residential use. The original structure was sensitively restored, and the interior design honors the architecture, proportion, and grandeur of the Art Deco building.<\/p>\n

Oskar<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

SCALE:\u00a0183,000 SF<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS:\u00a0Oskar, at 572 11th Avenue is a new 183,000 SF, 13-story modern residential complex located between 43rd and 44th streets near Hudson Yards. The program includes a 3,700 SF entry lobby and courtyard, punctuated by a sky-lit reflective pond, a wellness and fitness center, and a 2,500 SF indoor\/outdoor terrace. The building exterior is designed with a terracotta rain screen. On the lower floors, punched windows set within a glazed white terracotta exterior form an angled bay to provide air flow within the building. Upper levels are articulated with a continuous window-wall with a metal slab edge accent. A series of indoor\/outdoor terraces create green space and direct connections to the vibrant city life. The interior residences are bright, modern and flexible, with luxurious finishes that complement the architectural aesthetic.<\/p>\n

Rose Hill<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n

SCALE:\u00a0230,285 SF<\/p>\n

SYNOPSIS:\u00a0Rose Hill, located at 30 East 29th Street, in the dynamic NoMad neighborhood, is a new 45-story residential building that pays homage to the Rockefeller legacy, the neighborhood and the city\u2019s rich history of skyscraper architecture, while looking to the future. An expressive glass and metal fa\u00e7ade sources inspiration from the Rockefeller Group\u2019s landmark developments, namely Rockefeller Center, where exterior chevron patterns influence architectural elements throughout. Geometric accents, intricate details and expansive windows combine to reference a classically Gotham aesthetic, interpreted in a modern vocabulary.<\/p>\n
