Hello everybody! Welcome to my third episode. In this blog I would like to talk about what a normal day is like being a pedestrian in this crazy place. It’s been a couple of months since I came to this city but to be honest I feel like I’m still the new guy wherever I go.<\/p>\n
As I have already said in other blogs, I have had the opportunity to start getting to know the city better and better. However, many times it happens that I want to go to a place but it is too far away! If I had to describe Los Angeles in one word it would be: HUGE. Everything here is spread out. Therefore, when you plan to visit an area of the city you have to take into account the time it will take to get there.<\/p>\n
Los Angeles is known for being the city of the car, since it is quite difficult sometimes to live here without it. Hey! I said difficult, not impossible! If you are planning to start your adventure in this city like me, surely you do not come with your car. I warn you that the people who live here are going to look at you funny. My co-workers don’t understand how I can live here just by walking. However, I think it is an opportunity to get to know the city in a different way.<\/p>\n
A piece of advice: when you come, try to get a house more or less close to your place of work. So, you can enjoy just like I do, leaving work and going home for a walk. Believe me when I say that one of the best things about this city is simply enjoying walking through its streets, while you contemplate the Californian sunset, and think about what your next plan is going to be!
