Mark Domiteaux<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Born in Berkeley, California, he grew up in eight different cities on the West Coast, the Midwest, and the Great Lakes. He completed his education on the East Coast, graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Mark started his career as an architect 35 years ago, right in Dallas, the city his family calls home.<\/p>\n

While architecture is his pride and livelihood, he has picked up a few other tricks over the years. He holds patents on several small widgets you\u2019ve never seen or heard of. He restores vintage cars and races Formula Fords. His wife and him were urban farmers before it became a trend, with twenty years experience raising chickens and monster zucchini. Over the years, he also adopted multiple canines, all of which were obsessed with digging up their beloved vegetable garden.<\/p>\n

Back in his struggling young architect days, he devised a backup plan for himself and went to culinary school to become a professionally trained chef. Fortunately, his architecture career took off, but his family and friends continue to benefit from his culinary skills. Being a lifelong trivia hound and science nerd, he knows just enough about everything to make their dinner parties nearly insufferable for their indulgent friends.<\/p>\n

As a native Texan, his travels rarely took him further than Corpus Christi where his father was born although there was the occasional excursion to Mexico. Once in college, however, the world opened up and he never shied away from exploring somewhere that he had never been to, which thankfully has taken him all over Southeast Asia and the Middle East along with Europe and even Australia.<\/p>\n

Attending and graduating from the Bachelor of Architecture program at The University of Texas at Austin gifted him friends from the farthest reaches and exposed him to cultures which shaped who he has become. This constantly comes into play with how he designs and the enjoyment he has in working with and understanding how everyone lives in a unique but still unifying way.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
