Master of Advanced Studies UPM\/ETH in Collective Housing<\/strong> (MCH)<\/strong>, is a postgraduate full-time international professional program of advanced architecture design in cities and housing presented by Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica of\u00a0Madrid\u00a0(UPM)<\/strong><\/a> and Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH)<\/strong><\/a>. After thirteen editions, it is rated as the 3rd best architecture postgraduate program in the world, being\u00a0the best architecture master’s program in Europe according to the Best Architecture Master\u2019s Ranking 2020 (BAM).<\/a> <\/strong>So you can imagine Architect-US excitement and deepest honor to collaborate with them!<\/p>\n

Architect-US\u2019<\/strong> involvement will help MCH Alumni<\/strong><\/a> with finding a position in the American firm<\/strong>, the bureaucratic processes of the J1 Visa<\/strong>\u00a0paperwork, medical insurance, and all the official documentation required by the State Department to legally work in the US.<\/p>\n

Diploma<\/b><\/h3>\n

UPM<\/strong><\/a> and ETH<\/strong><\/a> join forces to offer the first\u00a0UPM<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\/ ETH<\/strong><\/a> Diploma: \u201cMaster of Advanced Studies UPM\/ETH in Collective Housing<\/a><\/strong>\u201d. ETH Zurich<\/strong><\/a>, the most prestigious technology university<\/strong> in the world, signed in 2016 an agreement with\u00a0UPM<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0that officially recognizes MCH<\/strong> as one of its MAS programs<\/strong>, validating this master with the same recognition than existing further postgraduate courses offered at ETH Zurich<\/strong><\/a>. This agreement is based on the importance and commitment of MCH<\/strong> with excellence since its foundation in 2006, when it was offered for the first time at\u00a0UPM\u00a0Madrid.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Program<\/b><\/h3>\n

The program consists of 600 hours (60 ECTS)<\/strong>. Each credit is associated to 25 personal studying-working hours<\/strong>. Participants will develop their design skills through an intensive series of one-week\u00a0workshops\u00a0and complete their theoretical knowledge in\u00a0specialty seminars.<\/p>\n
