Always take advantage of international experiences<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Once you have created a system to value different job opportunities, you will have a better idea of what kind of international experience you would or would not take advantage of. Most of the time, the challenge of moving abroad and learning how to be professional in a whole new culture and company is a positive opportunity. Each country has their own history, which impacts their architecture style and influences. For example, Romania is a post-soviet country where the architecture scene is defined by their post-dictatorship legacy that impacted the way the society developed over time. If you want to work for a firm every day, you want to make sure that you believe in what the firm is doing. If the work you will be doing at the firm does not inspire you to work harder, you probably are in the wrong job position. The sooner you make these assessments of each opportunity, the sooner you will reach a position that is correct for you.<\/p>\n

You are working towards a common goal, so once you have figured out how you want to make an impact on the world individually, you can then go and find the firms that match your life mission.<\/p>\n

By researching the firm and knowing what their company goals and moral code is, you will be able to better understand what the decision makers at the firm are looking for in an ideal candidate. Your cheat sheet should be personalized and it allows you to proactively select the projects and experiences that you would like to present to the interviewers beforehand.<\/p>\n
