September<\/strong> was no different to the last couple of months! We had an incredible showcasing of talent from across the globe!! \ud83d\ude4c<\/p>\n

We had projects based in Asia<\/strong> and projects based in Puerto Rico<\/strong>! We had a project that took on the challenge of creating the training grounds for extreme sports<\/strong> and training that included “crossing the River Styx<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

In September <\/b>we were able to highlight the \ud83d\udd1d<\/b>notch work of 8<\/b>\u00a0architects<\/strong>, we have the final winner with the most likes on Instagram<\/strong>!!\u00a0In the end we had three projects<\/strong> that were able to cross the 200 likes mark<\/strong>!! \ud83d\udc4d<\/p>\n

The winner of the $30 Amazon Gift Card<\/strong> for this month was able to\u00a0\u00a0surpass the previous high of 252 likes<\/strong> garnered by Yi Jun Aston<\/a><\/strong>‘s\u00a0The Hive @ Sydney, Australia<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>So without further ado… the Winner is……<\/p>\n

Javier Martin de la Fuente<\/a>‘s Epicentro Natural<\/a><\/strong>, which was able to attain 262 likes<\/strong> on Instagram!!<\/p>\n

Javier <\/strong>created this project while working towards his Bachelor’s in Architecture at\u00a0IE School of Architecture<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>He\u00a0used\u00a0Illustrator, Photoshop, Autocad,<\/strong> and Rhinoceros.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main focus was to highlight the nature around the building. It is for this reason that he called it Natural Epicenter.<\/strong> Within the renderings you can better understand how\u00a0Javier<\/strong> was able to emphasize the beautiful landscape.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Now Martin de la Fuente<\/strong> is working in New York City<\/strong> at SHoP Architects<\/strong><\/a>. He began as an Entry Level\u00a0Designer<\/strong> and was able to work his way up to a\u00a0Designer<\/strong> position in\u00a0a year.<\/p>\n

We want to shout out the other seven amazing artists that were showcased in September!! \u2764\ufe0f We had a great turnout and three projects with over 200 likes!<\/h4>\n

In\u00a0second place<\/strong> was Bianca Dobru<\/a><\/strong>‘s Yichun Zen Resort<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>where she\u00a0used Japanese Cedar Laminated Lumber for the design. Bianca<\/strong>\u00a0worked at UN Studio Architecture<\/strong><\/a> and has also worked on Karle town center<\/strong> in Bangalore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Yichun Zen Resort <\/strong>was able to attain\u00a0250 likes <\/strong>on Instagram.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0third place<\/strong> was\u00a0Carlos Alcal\u00e1 Santaella Mac\u00edas<\/a>‘s Ponce Intercontinental<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>with 240 likes <\/strong>on\u00a0Instagram.\u00a0<\/strong>Carlos\u00a0<\/strong>wanted to\u00a0redesign the Intercontinental hotel, which also has been rumored of being haunted by the local population. Carlos <\/strong>is working as a BIM Architect<\/strong>\u00a0at\u00a0<\/strong>FL-ARE<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in Madrid, Spain. Previously he worked at\u00a0Adam Bresnik Architects<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>as a\u00a0Junior Architect.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0fourth place<\/strong> was\u00a0Carlos de la Fuente<\/a>‘s Project Styx<\/a>, <\/strong>which is an\u00a0academic project he created during his time at\u00a0<\/strong>CEU San Pablo<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0in Spain<\/strong>.\u00a0Carlos<\/strong> wanted to create a space for\u00a0high performance training in\u00a0Extreme Sports. One of his biggest inspirations and goals was to face the reality of such a hard training through the Hell (Inferno). This is where the name gets its origin. Project Styx<\/strong> was able to win over\u00a0201\u00a0likes<\/strong> on Instagram<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0fifth place<\/strong> was\u00a0Guillermo del Rio<\/a>‘s Between Sea and Cliffs<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>which he finished at the\u00a0Polytechnic University of Madrid (ETSAM)<\/a>.<\/strong> Guillermo<\/strong> was able to gain\u00a0154 likes <\/strong>on Instagram.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>In\u00a0Between Sea and Cliffs<\/strong>, we see how he uses his sketching and great rendering to pair for an incredible experience.\u00a0Since graduating in 2018 he has traveled from Madrid<\/strong> to Iceland<\/strong> to California.<\/strong>\u00a0Now his is working\u00a0McGinnis Chen Associates.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

In\u00a0sixth place<\/strong> was\u00a0Ellina Poltavtseva<\/a>‘s\u00a0XI\u2019AN TRAIN STATION (Not all landscapes should be green!)<\/a>,\u00a0<\/strong>made in collaboration with Anna Spaggiari, <\/strong>was able to get\u00a0117 likes<\/strong> on Instagram. Ellina<\/strong>\u00a0also worked in \u00a0Beijing at MAD Architects<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Ellina <\/strong>states “This is perspective of a city of the future, where Xi\u2019An is not just known worldwide for its culture and history but also as a symbol of technological progress.”<\/p>\n

In\u00a0seventh place<\/strong> was\u00a0Justine Velasquez<\/a>‘s\u00a0The Park for the Bachelor Thesis<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>won\u00a098\u00a0likes<\/strong> on\u00a0Instagram. \u00a0<\/strong>Justine<\/strong>\u00a0provided us with her Thesis for her studies\u00a0at Universidad del Valle<\/a>.\u00a0<\/strong>Velasquez<\/strong> sought to create a park that also includes an area for artistic experimentation and community connection.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0eighth place<\/b> was\u00a0Alvaro Follana’s El Taller de los Sue\u00f1os<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>was created at\u00a0Universidad Francisco de Vitoria<\/a>, Follana<\/strong>\u00a0had the opportunity to do an academic internship at Carpinter\u00eda La Navarra<\/a><\/strong>. Follana<\/strong> was able to garner\u00a079 likes<\/strong> on Instagram<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
