Last month, like so many others, New York has reflected the health emergency is happening worldwide<\/strong>. At the same time, protests against racism had grown all over the city. These are times to reflect, understand what is happening and what could we do to improve our future.<\/p>\n

NY is reopening slowly. The subway has been colonised again<\/strong>. Parks are full of people, having fun keeping social distancing, sunbathing, or playing with their friends after three hard months of lockdown. Suddenly bar and restaurant terraces had appeared on the streets because it is not allowed to consume inside the bars. New York is deserted and full of life at the same time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All the touristic buildings and museums are closed (and now covered in plywood). Fifth Avenue or Rockefeller Center<\/a> is completely deserted. High line<\/a>, WTC Memorial<\/a>, or Columbus Circle are closed to the public. This context could not look easy for newcomers but going for a walk and discover the beautiful parks of Manhattan is a great opportunity in Corona times. Battery Park in the south is close to the South Ferry Station where you can take an empty Staten Island Ferry<\/a> and discover a great view of the new World Trade Center and the Statue of Liberty. Hudson River Park has renovated piers like #45, a minute away from Friends Apartment<\/a> in Chelsea. It is a perfect spot to enjoy a stunning sunset with views from the downtown, the new Hudson Yards, and the Empire State. Washington Park is a great place to relaxing in the grass and enjoy some drinks with your friends after work. A peaceful Bryant Park with the New York Library is close to Times Square. And finally, an incredible fireflies spectacle is happening in Central Park just before night.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Summer is here and the 4th of July celebrations are around the corner.<\/p>\n
