Why | The project\u2019s research question raises the conflict between the urban development process on the one hand and the necessity for the existence of city green lungs on the other. This issue raises awareness regarding the need for a new definition for a mediator between urban continuous growth and city green lungs. Examining its potential could create an economic, social, and environmental high-quality residential typology, based on the principles of the ecological urbanism theory.<\/p>\n

How | The banks of the \u2018Yarkon\u2019 Park were chosen as a case study of this conflict. Exploring Tel Aviv\u2019s planning history strengthened the insight of the North and South\u2019s urban separation, and the need to reunite them as one entity.<\/p>\n

What | The project suggests a new way of living infrastructure that is \u2018patching\u2019 the isolated sides of the city by examining the conflict between the urbanization process and the importance of green lungs in the city. From the economic point of view, the project ensures the creation of a significant mass of \u2018new land\u2019, which aims to accommodate a large number of residential units. A spatial transformation of the park\u2019s surrounding wide roads and parking lots, from line to volume, creates a critical mass of new dwelling typologies which envisages the park and the city as one identity. Thus, it ensures density acceleration as well as urban, ecological qualities.<\/p>\n

Lubliner used\u00a0SketchUp, Adobe, Vray, and Autocad for this project.<\/p>\n
