I can’t believe it’s ending my adventure here in the United States as a Trainee, I\u2019m entering my 17th month and I don\u2019t want to leave. Architect Us<\/strong>, thank you so much for helping me live the most amazing experience of my life. I don’t want to write goodbye because I still have time here and there are still a lot of things to live and enjoy.<\/p>\n

PS: I’m not ready to say goodbye.<\/p>\n

Good even with all this crazy situation that we were living in these last times, I can not complain,<\/strong> I have been working a lot and, things are returning relatively quickly to “normal”. Last holiday I could even travel to North Carolina, what an incredible place. My boyfriend and I went to visit his family who lives in Wilmington, it was almost 10 hours on the road, but it was very worth it. The roads in the USA are the highest quality and it was super interesting to see the vegetation transition between the states. Here in Florida, we have many palm trees and lower vegetation, when you arrive in Carolina’s vegetation is different with more slender and dense trees.
\nWe were very lucky with the weather, it was sunny and an extremely pleasant temperature. Branden’s family lives in a very beautiful house in the middle of the forest, well isolated, but extremely cozy, his aunt prepared a very tasty dinner in the garden and we can enjoy nature, we saw zucchinis, frogs, armadillos, and several other animals.<\/p>\n

The next day we took the opportunity to wake up early and go exploring the trails near the house, the vast majority of them were easy and not very steep, thankfully, I’m kind of out of shape in this quarantine.<\/strong> Then we took the kayaking and went to explore the lake, it was very interesting to see the difference in architecture in North Carolina compared to Florida, the design of the projects are very different, even though the two states suffering from hurricanes each solves the problems of flooding and protection in completely different ways.<\/p>\n

At dusk we discovered that we arrived at the weekend that the bars and restaurants were opening at 45% capacity, which made the trip even better, we were super excited to walk and see people. We sat in a restaurant facing the beach and enjoyed it until closing time. It was a very short trip, but very pleasant.<\/p>\n

The next day we had to face 10 hours back, but we enjoyed it a lot and it was enough to stay with the family, which is always very nice.<\/p>\n
