You should have heard about the most important sports moment of the year in America: The Super Bowl<\/strong>. It’s inevitable!<\/p>\n This year,\u00a0the game between the Los Angeles Rams<\/a><\/strong> and the New England Patriots <\/a><\/strong>took place in Atlanta at\u00a0Mercedes-Benz Stadium<\/a>, designed by HOK<\/a>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The preparation<\/strong><\/p>\n When someone hosts The Super Bowl,<\/strong>\u00a0every detail is important<\/strong>, from the food menu to the\u00a0toothpick!<\/p>\n Everything should match and be according to the theme…everywhere you look, you see football balls, balls, and more balls!<\/strong> You have napkins, glasses, small flags,\u00a0dishes sets, menu boards, etc.<\/p>\n The menu is assorted… burgers, hotdogs, chips, and dips<\/strong> are must have on the Super Bowl table.<\/p>\n Once the table is set, just gamble for the winner!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Game\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n The purpose of the game is to move the ball towards, and ultimately into, the opposition’s\u00a0end zone<\/b>.<\/em><\/p>\n This is achieved by either running with the ball until tackled or throwing the ball downfield to a team-mate.<\/p>\n Downs<\/strong> <\/em>are the most fundamental, and confusing, part! The attacking team\u00a0needs to move the ball forward in chunks of at least 10 yards. They have four chances, or downs, to gain those 10 yards.<\/p>\n While most scoring comes from near the defending team’s end zone, a\u00a0touchdown<\/b><\/em>\u00a0can be scored from anywhere on the field, and on any down. This\u00a0involves all 11 players to move the ball downfield.<\/p>\n Plays<\/strong><\/em> are called by the head coach or quarterback, who is the attacking lynchpin of any team.\u00a0Defending teams also use set plays to stop their opponents’ forward movement.<\/p>\n The offensive team has 30 seconds to get the ball in play or kick a field goal.<\/p>\n Sounds complicated?<\/strong><\/p>\n Watch this:\u00a0<\/strong>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=3t6hM5tRlfA<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Half Time<\/strong><\/p>\n The half time is expected with enthusiasm and it’s one of the high moments of the evening. For some, the commercials were a bigger draw than the game itself.
