{"id":12149,"date":"2018-12-24T14:18:51","date_gmt":"2018-12-24T13:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/?p=12149"},"modified":"2022-09-12T14:24:48","modified_gmt":"2022-09-12T12:24:48","slug":"the-end-of-my-j1-visa-experience","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/2018\/12\/the-end-of-my-j1-visa-experience\/","title":{"rendered":"the end of my J1 Visa experience"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I can&#8217;t believe that I&#8217;m in my last month living in the United States,<strong> the end of my J1 Visa experience<\/strong> is getting closer and the time passed very fast,\u00a0 I feel like it was yesterday that I began to prepare the paperwork to apply for the Visa and that I met the team of Architect-US, they were very friendly and always willing to help and answer any question.<\/p>\n<p>During my time here\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I developed several skills like teamwork, language and communication skills, time management (responsibilities and deadlines), technological skills, understanding of international building codes, styles, designs, and measurements. Working on RVJA\u00a0I learned a lot about theme parks and how is the process to design\u00a0it from the master planning to the design development. I also had the opportunity to\u00a0<\/span>attend\u00a0the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iaapa.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IAAPA<\/a>) event on November 2017 and to a Job training program about the structure, functionality, and back of the house of the Florida Aquarium located in Tampa.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-12150 size-medium aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/the-end-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"the end of my j1 visa program\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/the-end-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/the-end-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/the-end-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/the-end-740x493.jpg 740w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/the-end.jpg 1254w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now, at the end\u00a0of my\u00a0J1\u00a0Visa\u00a0experience, I have a better understanding of US culture. I met people from all over the world including friends, co-workers and neighbors, were I was able to exchange knowledge, food, leisure activities, hobbies and different lifestyles. Another way of relating to the culture was throughout sports, festivals, museums, and trips around the US.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This was an international experience that enriched my knowledge and brought me new experiences regarding my career.
