If you’re interested in watching a baseball game in New York then you should go to the Yankee Stadium and see the Yankees. The NY Yankees<\/a> are one of the most successful sport clubs in the world and they have won more titles than any other US major professional sports franchise.<\/p>\n

Baseball is by far the most popular sport in the Dominican Republic so I was pretty familiar with the rules, players and MLB teams. The best part was to see before the game the celebration of the 20th<\/sup> anniversary of the 1998 Championship team with an on-field reunion with players from the \u201890s including Andy Pettitte, Mariano Rivera, Bernie Williams, Joe Torres and a video from Derek Jeter, perhaps the most beloved NY athlete of the last few decades.<\/p>\n

General Tickets go from as low as $10, however, it normally depends on which is the opponent team, and the location of your seat. If the game is during the afternoon, make sure you get a seat in the shade. The new Yankee Stadium is easy to reach by taking MTA Trains B,D or 4 until 161th <\/sup>ST \u2013 Yankee Stadium Station in the Bronx. It doesn\u2019t take longer than 30-40 minutes from Midtown.<\/p>\n

In New York there are two MLB teams: The NY Yankees<\/a> and the NY Mets<\/a>, both are great teams and even better when they play against each other (known as The Subway Series<\/a>). So if you are in the city and you have the chance to go to a ball game, go for it! You\u2019ll have an amazing time!
