The most famous one is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityofnewport.com\/departments\/easton-s-beach\" rel=\"nofollow\">Easton\u2019s Beach<\/a><strong>,<\/strong> also known as First Beach, on 175 Memorial Blvd. This long beach starts at the entrance to Cliff Walk, sweeping below the gaze of the elegant\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thechanler.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow\">Chandler at Cliff Walk<\/a><strong>.<\/strong> This walk combines the natural beauty of the Newport\u00a0shoreline with the architectural history of Newport&#8217;s gilded age<strong>.<\/strong> Wildflowers, birds, geology &#8230; all add to this delightful walk where you can enjoy the majesty of the big mansions that alight over the sea.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these mansions\u00a0are opened to the public and\u00a0you can visit them. I\u00b4ve decided to visit the <strong>Breakers<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p>The Breakers is the grandest of Newport&#8217;s summer &#8220;cottages&#8221; and a symbol of the Vanderbilt family&#8217;s social and financial preeminence in turn of the century America.
