The plot is set before Dorothy&#8217;s arrival from Kansas, and includes several references to well-known scenes and dialogue in the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz as a backstory.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-11306 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/08-6WickedNY596-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"485\" height=\"323\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/08-6WickedNY596-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/08-6WickedNY596-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/08-6WickedNY596-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/08-6WickedNY596-740x493.jpg 740w, https:\/\/www.architect-us.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/08-6WickedNY596.jpg 1620w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 485px) 100vw, 485px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Without spoiling to much, the production gives just enough nods from\u00a0The Wizard of Oz\u00a0to make you enjoy your walk down memory lane. The set pieces from around the land of Oz were interesting, fresh and never overstayed their welcome. Also, if you enjoy the set and costumes aspects of musicals, you won\u2019t be disappointed here.<\/p>\n<p>The overall experience was amazing.
