Tables and shelves from steps in Japan house

Japanese studio Tato Architects designed house in Osaka with angular platforms that perform multiple functions such as tables and shelves and are connected by a spiraling sequence of wooden steps.
The client requested that the three members of the family can feel close regardless of where they are in the house.
Each of the different levels is raised 70 centimeters above the one below so the floor surfaces can function additionally as tables or shelves.
