I had the opportunity to live the experience of being in the traditional American Football game. I only watched this kind of sports on tv, but this time I could feel it from inside. In this case, I went to see UCF vs Memphis, a college game at Spectrum Stadium that is located on the main campus. The game was amazing, starting with the pre-game show including bands, cheerleaders, the presentation of the players and the college’s mascots.
Before they started singing the anthem, they did the presentation of the Knight, symbol of UCF that gives the name to the team (UCF Knights). This knight rode the horse around the stadium greeting the spectators and everybody got really excited about that.
The atmosphere at the stadium was very positive and the people were supporting the players, by wearing clothes with the colors of the team (gold, white and black), singing and cheering them. It looks like all the support of the people really helped the team, giving them the victory that day. UCF fans celebrated the final score.
