MVRDV, which is based in The Netherlands, and BIG, which is a Danish studio, will collaborate for the development of a new neighborhood in Abu Dhabi’s Makers District. The Dutch firm’s main idea is to build seven mid-rise towers, that will have 480 apartments in the upper levels and various shops, offices and co-working spaces in the lower part. These modern buildings will surround a public square designed by BIG.
