Weddings are a huge thing here in the US and last weekend I had the chance to experience a real american wedding. It took place in Upstate New York, a very beautiful and particularly colorful area during this time of the year: waterfalls, mountain landscapes and all types of tree varieties changing their leaves.
The event started at a Protestant church, where the person proceeding the ceremony was a woman (that was really unexpected)! The rest was pretty much what we all can recall from typical wedding movies: matching best men and braid maids, pictures with the waterfall background, themed decoration (fall-ing in love was the theme, with pumpkins and leaves everywhere), amazing open bar and buffet, even La Macarena dancing!
