Last May in Miami, was the best time to travel!! The weather starts to be perfect in the rest of the world.
So, let´s go to Washington!!! What better date than the memorial day to visit the Arlington cemetery and take a long walk through the National Malls to the Capitol. Perfect city to visit all kind of museums and have an amazing cultural experience about american history.
Washington is awesome!!! Lincon’s monument was really impressive and the Smithsonian museum was absolutly amazing! We visited Georgetown´s neighborhood and we tasted the famouse cupcakes after a long bicycle walk closer to the Potomac‘s river. Finally we spent one of the nights going out around 14th street, where «El Centro D.F.» was my favorite place to have a good time at night! The possibility to be there in 2 hours, just picking an aeroplane is so cool!
When you live in Miami, vacation activities are your day by day, but visiting real american places sometimes is hard to find it. That is the reason Washington was the perfect destination to recharge all the batteries to come back to the dreamed city, full of boats, pool parties and so many sunny beaches.
