During my 4 months in the USA I got to travel a bit. I have always wanted to visit Chicago so I booked a ticket with my flatmate and travelled to the city.
When we arrived, we went directly to the Millennium Park, it is really nice to walk around there. Also you can find the very famous ‘Bean’ which reflects some of the buildings. We took some pictures there as the following one.
In the afternoon we went to the Willis Tower to watch the sunset from there. I have to say the views are amazing and there are some glass cubes in which you can step to see the city below.
During the second day we took a bus to see the Robie House by Frank Lloyd Wright. From the outside is really impressive, but once we did the interior tour we got a better idea of the whole building. If you are interested in architecture I really recommend you to do it!
Later on, we took a boat at the Navy Pier. We did the architecture tour, which goes through the river showing you all the interesting buildings in Chicago. It was cold but it was worth it!
The last day we decided to go to the Hancock Tower where you can also have a 360 view of the city.
For lunch we went to the Navy Pier, it was a sunny day so we could grab some food and eat in a terrace with the skyline views. Finally we went to the Art Institute of Chicago which I loved!
I would say Chicago is an amazing city that I loved to know and that I wouldn’t mind to come back!
