Already more than a month that I moved in a new place and I feel so grateful for having found the «best» place to live in the City…
My place is located in the Mission District, the Mexican area, but as well a very lively neighborhood with so many restaurants, bars, and boutiques – quite central from everything, and so close to my work. It makes my life so easy!
But I feel even more grateful for sharing a place with the roommates I have… I am sharing a huge apartment with five other people with very different backgrounds. Between the six of us we are somehow representing 7 country – Colombia, Syria, Austria, China, Thailand, France and the US! We are always helping each other for anything, sharing food, inviting each other to parties or activities, and very friendly blaming each other for not washing the dishes… It feels good to feel home, and this very diverse small community is like my new family here in the US.
We even started salsa classes the most of us on a weekly basis and regularly end up home with other people from the class practicing what we have learnt and sharing some food. I love this new routine!! We have such a welcome house, I like this spirit!
