Every Spanish person who is living abroad misses home several times a day, even more when you think about the weather, the food, the great beers, how cheap it is… but don’t suffer, this is the US, you can find Spanish corners every where!
On Monday after work, I decided to visit Embarcadero with a friend, one of the most known neighborhoods in San Francisco, it was beautiful but it was raining so much that we decided to go into the first bar we saw. And, it was this restaurant called COQUETA, so beautiful and cozy. Fully booked! And without even noticing at first, it turned out to be Spanish!
We had patatas bravas, some pintxos, a pair of Estrella Galicia… for an hour, you felt as you were having a drink in any terrace in Madrid but with the incredible views of Embarcadero.
It is exciting that any place we go, our culture has a name! Love the US, love Spain 🙂
